The Nail Gun is an alternative primary weapon for the Scout. It is a white-and-grey pneumatic nail gun, with a nail belt canister attached to the barrel.

The Nail Gun allows the Scout to trade out their hitscan, burst firing lever action shotgun with an automatic, projectile and clip based weapon. Nails from this weapon travel through the air with an arc, similar to the Medic's Syringe Gun. This means that when firing at a moving enemy, aim slightly in front of which direction they are moving rather than where they are in order to compensate for the travel distance of the nails.

The Nail Gun works best at medium range where the Scout is just out of reach of the opponent to both hit his shots consistently and dodge incoming fire with the Scout's increased mobility. Another way this weapon can be utilised is to shoot at targets while retreating. Due to the nails being more effective at range than the Scattergun, this allows the Scout to fall back and also deal massive damage to enemies following, as long as you can correctly predict their movement. The nails are also more reliable when it comes to taking out distant sentries as long as the Scout stay outside the range, the nails can destroy sentries faster than the Scattergun.
Trivia
* The Nail Gun in Team Fortress 2 Classic originated from TFC. It was planned to make a reappearance in Team Fortress 2 but was cut during development. It can be seen in the Orange Box 2006 Playstation trailer.
* The Nail Gun's model is directly taken from Team Fortress 2's pre-release files.
* The Nail Gun was added in the 2020 Death & Taxes update and is the first fully automatic primary for Scout.
* When holding down the attack button, the Nail Gun's ammo count does not update smoothly enough to reflect the precise amount of nails fired, often stuttering its ammo count inaccurately until the clip is empty.
They'll detonate when they hit a surface, but they'll also detonate at a fixed range, dealing midair splash damage that's tough to avoid. (We've reassured Heavy that flak cannon explosive rounds are a lot like bullets.)}}
The Anti-Aircraft Cannon, commonly referred to as the AA, is a primary weapon for Heavy, added in the Fight or Flight update. It resembles an anti-aircraft cannon, scaled down so as to be carried by a person. Compared to the stock Minigun, it has a much slower firing rate, less ammo, and a limited effective range. However, it fires high-damage hitscan bullets that explode when colliding with a surface or a player, or after a set distance, dealing splash damage to all enemies in its wake. The user can take damage (but not knockback) from their own explosions, so it is necessary to keep a short distance from whatever they are shooting at. This is assisted by the weapon's high knockback, preventing enemies from closing the distance between them and the Heavy.

In addition, the Anti-Aircraft Cannon will mini-crit enemies who are 128 hammer units above the ground, and will mini-crit enemies who are explosive jumping or using a Jump Pad from any distance. The weapon's high knockback means that enemies can be juggled in the air, allowing for multiple mini-crits on an airborne enemy.
*Part of the publicity blurb for the AA says "Shoot for the moon!". This is part of the quote "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars". It is commonly attributed to Norman Vincent Peale, who was inspired by the Space Race.
The Disguise Kit, known as the Spytron 3000 is a default weapon for the Spy. It holds six cigarettes and appears to be a normal case, but includes hidden technology.

The Disguise Kit allows you to disguise as any class (default key: 1-9) from RED or BLU (default key: ' or -) on normal maps, or all four teams (RED, BLU, GRN and YLW) on four-team maps. On these maps, you can also disguise as 'grey' team, which allows enemy players to see you disguised as the current team they are on.

Disguising as a class takes two seconds, in these seconds smoke particles surround the Spy and are visible to other players. If you are changing disguises, these particles are only visible by teammates. Attacking whilst disguising will immediately cancel it. Upon disguising successfully, or attacking in a disguise will show an outline of a spy on the screen. The HUD will then display information about your current disguise; class, health, weapon and name. Reloading your weapon while disguised shows enemy teams reloading the weapon on your disguise. Pressing the last disguise button (default key: b) changes this disguised weapon to one relative to the slot they have active.

Taunting with this weapon active but not disguised results in one of two taunts; the community named Spycrab and a cigarette flick.
Looking up and taunting will always guarantee the Spycrab taunt to play, otherwise there is approximately a one-tenth chance. This is currently the only weapon that has more than one taunt.
