Floodgate is an official Four-Team Arena map added in the Fight or Flight update. The map takes place in some form of water treatment facility, with the control point residing inside a large water tower, which is really a facade for a control room of some kind.

Strategy
Floodgate is larger compared to other Four-Team Arena maps, both official and unofficial, and contains a large sight-line from the catwalk near your spawn to the center-back wall of middle. Consider running classes like Sniper or even Soldier to take advantage of this fact, while at the same time being cautious when entering mid.

You can easily access your neighbor's base by heading through the boiler room connecting the two. Be wary of Scouts or Spies rushing through this route at round start to get an easy kill or two.

Finally, the control point is situated within a small room with only two entrances. When it opens, it may be advantageous to camp in there, allowing you to clinch a win. Keep in mind, however, that explosive classes can easily spam you out.

The rumors are true: we got so sick of you nominating Keep "as a joke" that we all pitched in and made a brand-new Medieval Mode map, just so you'd give it a rest. Four teams, a moving objective, and overclocked siege weaponry for you to ride on! Take part in a Dark Age massacre, and see your heroic deeds immortalized in a three-sentence Wikipedia article 900 years from now.
}}
Krepost is an official Four-Team Medieval Domination map.

The map is structured like a cross, with each team's control point in their respective bases. At the beginning of the round, all points are locked and access to each team's courtyard is blocked by a gate. After a certain amount of time, a random team's point is selected, unlocking it and opening their gates. It is then up to that team to capture their point and defend it from the other three teams. As with other Domination maps, owning capture points will give you points over time. After a team gains forty points, they win the round.

Trivia
* The word "Krepost" is Russian for Fortress.
* In each team's courtyard, there is a catapult - it's not just for show! Touching the catapult will launch you in the air towards the battlements.

}}

Four-Team is a gamemode introduced in the Death and Taxes update; as the name suggests the gamemode features typical symmetrical gameplay, but players are now split between four teams instead of the usual two. These two new teams added are the GRN (Global Radio Network) team and the YLW (Yard Logistics Workers, Inc). Since teams will naturally be smaller in size, teamwork is encouraged and sticking together is advised.

So far, there are only two official maps that have four teams, Hydro and Flask; however two new maps featuring four teams have been teased in the 2.0.3 anniversary patch blog post.
* The mechanics of a map having three or more teams first appeared in TFC, though in the base game only the Hunted map (which eventually evolved into VIP) utilized this mechanic. The Civilian was on Blue, Red was comprised of his bodyguards, and Yellow was the assassins.
Arena is a game mode where the teams battle to be the last one standing. When a player dies they don't respawn and must wait until the the next round to play again. A team wins by being the last one to have living players, or by capturing a central control point which is activated after some time passes.

This mode uses the new playable class subsequently named VIP, also known as the Civilian, who's role is to focus on the objectives in the maps he's available in. This includes capturing control points, using the intel to open up the last control point, and racing towards the last point in one life. Typically, the BLU team will be focusing on aiding the VIP in completing these objectives, while the RED team is focused on preventing him until the timer has been reached. Normally, killing the VIP will reduce the timer by 30 seconds, which allows RED team to win faster, while BLU team races against the clock. The VIP has special abilities himself that supports his team, including a defence boost for teammates near him, and his Umbrella that grants mini-crits on friendly targets.
There are two official Domination maps: Oil Canyon and Hydro (Domination).
This mode is designed around reaching a point limit that increases based on the number of control points you own. Control points may start neutral, or may start out owned by a particular team that will start gaining points from it as soon as the round begins. Depending on the map, some control points may increase your team's points at different rates. A Control point is a common objective found throughout a variety of gamemodes in TF2C. They represent a team's control over a particular area of the map. They are usually captured by standing in the capture area marked by hazard stripes. Information on what points are unlocked, or are owned by which team, can be found at the bottom of HUD, represented by team-colored squares.

How fast a point is captured depends on how many players are standing in the capture area - up to x3 speed if at least three players are on the point. The Scout and Civilian can capture points faster than regular classes - x2 and x5 speed respectively. Capture progress can be halted if a player from the owning team of the point is standing in the capture area. Capture progress will decay over time if there are no players on the point, again quicker if a player from the owing team is standing on the point.
The Invisibility Watch, or Invis Watch for short, is the stock watch for the Spy. With any weapon out, the Spy can press to use the watch, cloaking him and making him invisible to the enemy team. By pressing
afterwards, or by running out of Cloak, the Spy will become visible again. The Invis Watch is a necessary tool in the Spy's arsenal, since it allows him to make it behind enemy lines without being seen. Combined with skillful use of the Disguise Kit, the Spy should be able to easily position himself to allow him to kill key enemy targets.

The Invis Watch runs off of Cloak. While invisible, the Cloak meter in the bottom right corner of your HUD will decrease. Once the meter is empty, the Spy will become visible again. Cloak will regenerate over time, and can also be replenished by picking up Ammo, dropped weapons, or by going near a Dispenser, Payload, or Resupply Cabinet. Cloak can be made ineffective in a variety of ways. Bumping into enemies or taking damage from any source, such as fire or bleed, will make the Spy flicker. If the Spy becomes wet by going underwater, his position will be revealed via the dripping water particles that spawn off of him. Similarly, if the Spy is shot with the Tranquilizer Gun, the Tranquilizer effect particles will also reveal his position.
The Sapper is the stock sapper for the Spy. By using while being close to an enemy Engineer's building, the Spy will place a Sapper on the building, causing it to be disabled and start taking damage over time. Be warned that any enemy Engineer can simply just take the sapper off with two swings of his Wrench, which will instantly make the building active again.

Using the Sapper is unique amongst the Spy's weapons since it doesn't remove your disguise on attack.
The Pyro is an offensive class. Using their flamethrower, they specialise in flanking enemies and lighting them on fire to deal damage after the encounter is over.
*Fire Axe

Tips
As a Pyro...
* …your flamethrower does more damage the closer you are to the enemy.
* …ambush enemies to catch them in the short range of your flamethrower. Use corners to your advantage.
* …your flamethrower chews up a lot of ammo. Pick up fallen weapons to refill your supply.
* …switch to your shotgun if enemies retreat beyond the short range of your flamethrower.
* …you can often set enemies on fire and retreat, leaving them to die from the burning.
* …you cannot be ignited by fire-based weapons. Use your shotgun or melee weapons against enemy Pyros in order to counter this.
* …the flamethrower's compression blast (attack2) is a very useful tool. Use it to push enemies, even invulnerable Medics and their buddies, away or into environmental hazards.
* …your flamethrower can extinguish burning teammates with attack2.
* …your flaregun can catch enemies on fire at long range. This works well against enemy Snipers.
Four teams, a square sandbox, and a rickety shack in the middle: pure unbridled four-team mayhem. The tension of Arena is ratcheted even higher by wide-open sightlines and extra teams to wipe, and with the lobby spread across four teams instead of two, every death is twice as damning.
}}
Flask is an official Arena map released in the Death & Taxes update. It's set in a desert environment surrounded by rocks and mountains.

The goal of the player's team is to eliminate the entire enemy team or capture the central capture point.

Strategy
Sticking together with your team is advised, since losing even one player can mean defeat in the long run. In addition, it is also recommended for at least one of your team members to run Medic, since there are only two small healthkits in the entire map, making recovering from an assault difficult.

The map can be split into two halves; the side with RED and BLU, and the side with YLW and GRN. No matter which side you are on, it would be wise to focus on your rival team directly ahead first - gaining map control over your half first will give you an edge over the other two teams.

Trivia
* The mechanics of a map having three or more teams first appeared in TFC, though in the base game only the Hunted map (which eventually evolved into VIP) utilized this mechanic. The Civilian was on Blue, Red was comprised of his bodyguards, and Yellow was the assassins.
