The patch coincided with the one-year anniversary of the game's official release, and its only change was updating [[Badwater (VIP)]]. It was originally nighttime in [[2.0.0]], then changed to daytime in [[2.0.1]]. The accompanying [https://tf2classic.com/?id=5065 blog post] described it as "the only unpopular update we've ever released". As a result, a new nighttime version of the map was released.
