A todo list has been written for this article.

The specific instructions are:


  • Rename "before" and "after" to "prev" and "next" for clarity
  • Add built-in categorization of articles into Category:Patch Notes and Category:Updates
  • Add preformatted introductory paragraph:
    • Conditional check for if "after" param is present
      • If "after" is not declared, add "It is the most recent update to the game." to the paragraph.
    • Param system for specifying what type of changes were in the patch;
      • e.g. bug fixes, map changes, weapon changes, etc
    • Other params for specifying certain bits of the paragraph;
      • Patch date
      • Link to main update article if it's a major update (e.g. 2.2.0 having a link to Double Down Update.
      • Link to external patch notes
        • TF2Classic.com for patches post 2.0.0
        • Archived pages for patches pre-2.0.0
