Wiseau was an unfinished Deathmatch map residing within a warehouse area in the middle of a city. It is one of few maps from this gamemode that has since reappeared in Open Fortress.

Wiseau was added to Team Fortress 2 Classic on the August 28, 2015 2.0.0 (BETA) update, and removed on the July 4, 2020 Death & Taxes update. It was developed by current developer INSERT DEVELOPER/CONTRIBUTOR's NAME. and former developer Former Team Member iiboharz

Locations

Overview

Middle

In the middle of the map is a spacious fighting area surrounding three of the indoor areas in the map, as such this also contains several entryways to these areas which include:

  • Captain Dan's Wood Pulp: To the left of the player at every angle is a massive nondescript building of which is only known by "Captain Dan's Wood Pulp" that houses weapons and several exits to other areas of the map. One such exit to the left and right sides of the building contains the rightmost walkway, and a route to gaining a Shotgun aswell as a stairway up to the roof; this contains a broken crate of which was once housing a Rocket Launcher which can also be accessed from the right side of the building via a ladder.
  • Pinkerpaw Packaging: This location houses a much bigger area of which can be accessed from both the left and rightmost sides of Middle, more detail on its interior will be given at a later section, this building connects directly to the left and rightmost sides surrounding it.
  • Walkway: Upon taking one of the upper level exits in the Wood Pulp building it leads you down two pathways, one directly leading into a way into the Pinkerpaw Packaging facility (mentioned here and in the next section), or to a walkway that can be accessed via a ladder. Upon climbing the ladder, you will find a Sniper Rifle to your left and the Critical Hits power-up to your right.
  • Maintenance Area : On the right-hand side of Middle contains two entrances to a ventilation shaft connected by a walkway containing a Shotgun, the building to the left-hand side of it is a shack containing a Super Shotgun and one of the aforementioned vents, the second room being a more nondescript building holding the second vent entrance; the fan cover to the right of the vent being removed. Upon entering this vent is a connection to both areas aswell as a nondescript control room also housing a Rocket Launcher. What can also be spotted on this part of the map is a message from the map's developers.

Captain Dan's Wood Pulp

This is the aforementioned nondescript building to the left-hand side of the middle of the map, which upon entering the building from ground level you'll find the Sten Gun in what looks to be a spacious storage room and a Flare Gun in the small stairway to the right, with a Flamethrower sitting at the top. Upon taking either the ladder to the left of the stairway, or the stairway itself, you'll enter the upper level of the building, which gives you several routes to other parts of the map (see Middle for more detail on some). One such exit goes two ways (aforementioned Walkway in the previous section and the Storage Facility in the later section), and one that goes to the aforementioned Shotgun and Rocket Launcher to the right. This room also contains a SMG to the left-hand side of the room.

Pinkerpaw Packaging

Upon entering the building with this label from any of its three entrances, you are greeted with either of two rooms:

  • Loading Dock Facility: In here is a Loading Dock with two shutter doors on either side, with a Grenade Launcher housed in the middle, which can be reached via two ramps on either side of the dock infront of the doors. Beyond this is a small, spacious area directly leading into the ground level entry/exit doorway and the storage room to the right-hand side, which can be entered via either Captain Dan's Wood Pulp or an entrance underneath a walkway which can be accessed via a ladder from the aforementioned Wood Pulp building.
  • Storage Facility: In this room houses a huge, spacious, storage facility that can be accessed via the methods mentioned above. You will find a walkway spanning one corner of the room, connected to ground level by a ramp. On the ground level rests a Shotgun closest to the aforementioned walkway, and upon entering the facility from any angle you will find a cargo crate with a Tommy Gun resting ontop of it; this can be accessed via a wooden plank resting on some wooden crates on the right side. Ontop of a control room accessed via either the walkway or the Wood Pulp building is the Ubercharge power-up.
