The Poacher’s Pride was a primary weapon for the Sniper, and acted as a precursor to the Hunting Revolver. It's a double-barreled rifle with a wooden gun stock and leather carrying strap.

Compared to the Sniper Rifle, it did 20% more damage, had a 50% faster firing rate, a clip size of 2 and an ammunition pool of 25, but does 33% less headshot damage and lacked a damage charge. Similarly to the Hunting Revolver, it also had reduced zoom as it lacked a scope, which allowed for increased visibility and less of a movement speed penalty at the cost of zoom magnitude, and lacked any laser dot.

The Poacher’s Pride was made by RetroMike, Hypo, Los que conocen saben, Gaming Grandma, Daesdemona, QuestionablyInsane, and Digivee as a Team Fortress 2 workshop item for the Mayann community update.

In the Death & Taxes update, it was replaced with the Hunting Revolver, which kept the higher firing speed (50% to 55%), larger clip size, (2 to 6), and lack of scope and damage charge.
