King of the Flag is a currently unused game-mode in TF2C. It is ostensibly a version of King of the Hill in which instead of a Control point, teams fight over control of a neutral flag instead.
Any maps prefixed with kotf_ will be recognized as a King of the Flag map. However, the default mission briefing for this mode uses the mission briefing for KOTH maps - most likely as a placeholder. This makes it it unclear on how exactly maps for this game-mode are meant to be played.
