Question(s)

Can we get a couple new links added to the main page's Categories section? Specifically Patches and Lists. Thanks! 🇷🇴 01:40, 25 January 2025 (UTC)

woah

we literally edited Engineer at the same time. i had erased those three cat's in my edit without knowing you had just done so at that exact moment. crazy, huh? 🇷🇴 21:21, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

also thanks, i'd been meaning to add nocat for a while 🇷🇴 21:22, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
that was semi intentional, unfortunately it failed. Technochips (talk) 21:24, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

custom fonts don't work?

The various tf2 based fonts around the wiki don't seem to be loading for some reason, though I am still able to access them directly. That, and the little right facing arrows on Special:RecentChanges for entries with multiple edits aren't showing up either but can still be clicked. Just started happening the other day. Upon previewing this edit, I also noticed the little icons that show up on external links aren't showing up either. 🇷🇴 04:28, 25 March 2025 (UTC)

Apologies, this issue is a bit more confusing. On my phone using Firefox, all of the above is true. However, here on my PC in Firefox, the custom fonts show up just fine, but the external link icon and dropdown arrow on Special:RecentChanges are still missing 🇷🇴 20:30, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
Inspecting the external link icon element shows the CSS as "background-image: url(?14604);" which just fails to load. And I can't even see or click the dropdown arrow on PC, whereas I can still somehow tap the invisible arrow on mobile. Super weird. 🇷🇴 20:32, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
Found the dropdown arrow on PC, CSS shows a similar issue "background-image: url(?d0685);". 🇷🇴 20:34, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
Two things:
  1. the above issues are still active issues, anything in the MediaWiki css that uses "url()" is broken. I've been trying to research solutions but haven't found anything yet
  2. just curious if I could get sysop so I can edit some stuff that has been protected (like the English localization txt file) to categorize stuff. It's cool if not though, I understand. 🇷🇴 20:46, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
Hi, yeah the CSS issue is in fact an internal issue with the MediaWiki setup itself. We have an idea on how to fix it but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Technochips (talk) 21:14, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
