Sawtooth was added to Team Fortress 2 Classic on January 24, 2025 in the [[Double Down]] update. It was created by Team Fortress 2 Classic developers Suo, Waugh101, Mazern, abp and 14bit.
A team gains points by capturing any of the three Control Points. Each captured (and uncontested) Control Point generates one point each within 5 second intervals, spaced evenly apart. A contested control point that becomes uncontested will generate a point if five seconds have passed while contested. One team must reach 125 points to win the round.

Each team spawns in a room containing two exits, upon leaving from the left exit they have a direct path to either the A point (BLU side) or C point (RED side) with a cliffside to be wary of. Upon leaving from the right side, they have a direct path to said points while also having one that leads directly into the B point.

The Double Down Update

Sawtooth Mountain is a Domination map added in the Double Down Update. It is set on a mountaintop lumber mill.

Spawn Rooms

RED and BLU spawn rooms have two exits. The left exit leads directly to either Control Point A (if from BLU spawn) or Control Point C (if from RED spawn). The right exit leads to either A or C, and a path that leads to Control Point B.

Control Point A

Control Point A is located within a wooden building topped with a radar dish. It is immediately accessible from the right of BLU spawn.

Control Point B

Control Point B is housed within a sawmill. Two large, circular head saws move linearly on either side of the Control Point.

Control Point C

Control Point C is located underneath the wooden platform of a radio tower. It is immediately accessible from the right of RED spawn.
