TF2's Sniper Theme Has always been a convoluted topic. It is a rearrangement of Magnum Force. Not too similar to get into legal trouble for Valve, but also not too different for them to comfortably release it. The TF2 Classic team did not want to risk it, so I made this theme as the official track for TF2 Classic's Sniper!
Ram99"Magnum Opus" is a song written by Ram99 for the Team Fortress 2 Classified soundtrack. It was released as the music for the Classified version of "Meet the Sniper" on 2 September 2025 and was released on streaming platforms three days later. The song was added on Classified as an in-game menu music on version 3.0.0. It is 1:19 in length and can be heard on the game's main menu.
It was made for the Sniper to have his own theme in the game which the original "Meet the Sniper" theme was missing on live TF2 because it was rearrangement of the copyrighted "Main Title" written by Lalo Schifrin for the 1973 film Magnum Force.
