1.7.1 was a minor update for Team Fortress 2 Classic. It was released on January 20, 2015. The patch notes can be found on the archived TF2 Classic website. It featured some weapon changes, general changes, and bug fixes.
Changes
- New TF2C Icon
- New loading screen icon by blase
- Added a new background image from the 360 version of OB
- Changed the projectile model for the Beta rocket launcher
- Fixed GRN/YLW Collisions
- Fixed the GRN/YLW Name color being white in the notifications
- Switching from Green/Yellow now propertly(sic) kills the player.
- Added a shitload of new HUD textures for GRN/YLW By TheRubberFruitFace
- Added the skinned TF2 intel for GRN and YLW by Chowder908
- Picking the flag up as GRN/YLW no longer crashes the game
- You're no longer able to pick up another flag while already carrying a flag
- Added a 4 team toggle into the Create Server dialog
- Added a FGD for mappers
