猎枪是侦察兵造成伤害的主要方式，其鼓励你在近距离实行打了就跑的战术，冲向敌人，打出致命伤害，逃跑换弹。其几乎与霰弹枪相同，其相比霰弹枪具有25%的伤害增益(总共175%)和更快的换弹速度。这意味着一次近距离的弹丸全命中射击相比先前的90点提升到了105点伤害。在战术换弹(完全清空弹舱下的换弹)时，其速度由完全换弹的0.7秒减少到了0.5秒，鼓励玩家一次性装填多发霰弹弹药。像霰弹枪一样，猎枪以3×3序列一次发射10枚弹丸，中心位置会重叠两颗弹丸。This means the Scattergun can deal a deceptively high amount of damage at long range, assuming the vertical pellets all land on its target.
