1.6.3 was a minor update for Team Fortress 2 Classic. It was released on January 13, 2015. The patch notes can be found on the archived TF2 Classic Wiki and the archived TF2 Classic website. It featured some bug fixes.
The star of this update was a deeply touching personal memorial to the Great Facepunch Forum Reshuffling of 2015, which lead to the mass destruction of untold communities that once were the birthplace of many Team Fortress 2 modifications, and who have been given a suitable, collective eulogy through the oft-overlooked medium of video game changelogs.
Changes
- Disabled the background menu map.
- Fixed the maxplayers above 35 crash.
- Fixed the control point capture crash
- Fixed the missing Class names in the class selection menu
- Updated localization files
